Description

The Village at Summerville, a Life Plan Community, is seeking a Staffing Coordinator in our healthcare center. This valued employee will prepare schedules and coordinate staffing to ensure appropriate levels for resident needs, regulatory requirements, and budgeted levels.

Duties include, but not limited to, the following:

• Promote a cordial environment for residents, families, visitors, and other coworkers; assist in maintaining a “home like” environment
• Prepare monthly schedule for non-licensed staff and six-week schedule for licensed staff
• Contact all PRN staff to fill vacancies prior to schedule being posted
• Prepare daily staffing sheets on each unit
• Communicate with the Director of Nursing and the Assistant Direct of Nursing as well as the Healthcare Administrator
• Record all leave of absences, vacations, holidays and requests for schedule changes
